Some you have to plug into an outlet, some use batteries, so you can use them in a car.
I don’t recommend ingesting essential oils, but some people do. I try not to eat or drink anything processed, choosing only whole foods. Many oils on the market may be diluted or blended with synthetics oil that are unsafe to eat.

Essential oils that can help you curb your appetite and lose weight include:
- Grapefruit – In October 2014 a study was published in Autonomic Neuroscience: Basic and Clinical reported that the scent of grapefruit oil increased calorie burning in lab rats, and also decreased appetite.
- Cinnamon – long used as a metabolism-boosters, cinnamon can also stabilize blood sugars, which is especially good for people living with diabetes
- Ginger – Similar to cinnamon essential oil, has the same sugar stabilizing benefits
- Lemon – Is a great way to detoxify as well as help you shed pounds. The benefits of lemon essential oil are that it will boost your energy, and will put you in a good mood.
